Room Service is absolutely a song album. Spoonbox’s music is right in the middle among pop and electronic music, jazz and improvisation, with some contemporary accents. Nevertheless, it’s not a simple melting of styles; it is instead the development of a specific sound. The lyrics (all are written in english) are inventive, sometimes absurd, sometimes worrying or funny, always intense and profound. They are about children’s dreams, odd motels, imaginary gardens.
